Shores Family Crest Ring

The surname Shores was first discovered in Derbyshire, specifically in Mickleover, where the family established their seat in ancient times, possibly even before the Norman Conquest of 1066 A.D. By the time of the Domesday Book in 1086, Mickleover was under the ownership of Burton Abbey. Later records, such as the Yorkshire Poll Tax Rolls of 1379, list Adam de Schore and Johannes de Schore in Yorkshire.

About Vermeil gold plating
Vermeil gold plating is a high-quality finish with a thick layer of real gold (at least 2.5 microns, usually 18K) over solid sterling silver 925, offering a luxurious look. While more durable than standard gold plating, it is not permanent and may gradually wear over time, especially with frequent use. Proper care will help maintain its beauty longer. ✨
